Funding for transportation safety planning, data improvement/analysis, and infrastructure safety projects is available from the Tribal Transportation Program Safety Fund. Tribes can apply for a share of $42-million. Deadlines, September 15, 2022 and January 15, 2023 Details: https://highways.dot.gov/federal-lands/programs-tribal/safety/funds

Another funding opportunity with broader eligibility is the Safe Streets and Roads for All program which local agencies, MPO, and Tribes can used to develop Safety Action Plans and funding to implement those plans. https://www.transportation.gov/grants/SS4A
