In her role with Miller, Shekinah works with industrial customers and educational facilities to address welding fume issues and protect their workers and the environment.
Susan Fiore
Advanced Applications Manager @Hobart Brothers Welding
Susan is an advanced applications manager with Hobart Brothers Welding. She is a materials engineer with more than 30 years of experience in the welding industry and a fellow of the American Welding Society. Her expertise covers a broad range of welding and weldability-related concerns. Susan has worked extensively in the area of weld safety and health. In her current role with Hobart, she works closely with customers to resolve issues and to promote new ideas and welding innovations. Susan is a past chair of the AWS Safety and Health Committee and serves as the chair of the AWS Safety and Health Subcommittee on Fumes and Gases.
Bert Schiller
Industrial Hygienist
Bert is an industrial hygienist certified in the Comprehensive Practice of Industrial Hygiene (CIH). He has more than 35 years of experience within a wide variety of industries. Bert also worked with OSHA in Michigan for five years and has taught at the University of Michigan for the past seven years.
Karena Dyer
Manager – Welding Safety & Health @Miller Electric Welding
Karena is a product manager for the welding safety and health team at Miller Electric Welding. Her focus is on head, face and respiratory protection. Karena works directly with welders and Miller engineers to identify end-user needs and develop innovative respiratory products that address and meet those needs.
